The Recruiter Shop specializes in finding experienced and qualified professionals for our Employers’ requirements and finding the proper fit for our Candidates. We are proud to offer the following services:
Compared to other types of recruitment options, Contingency Staffing is a low up-front expenditure for your business as the placement fee is paid only when the position has been filled. It is the traditional way of working with an agency and fees are a one-time charge based on a percentage of the new hires’ first year salary or a percentage of their hourly rate for contractors. The fees depend on a few factors including; retainer, how many agencies are working on the position, how senior the opportunity is and how many roles there are to fill.
Direct Contract to the Employer is most effective when you have a lot of roles that need to be filled and you want a lower cost per hire. A member of our team becomes a part of your HR organization and works for you on an hourly basis and is paid through their incorporation or sole proprietorship. Our team will be onsite when needed and will do full cycle recruiting and can work on short or long term open ended contracts. It tends to be about 60% less than the traditional contingency fee.
The Candidate Sourcing model is best used when you have too many roles for your in-house recruitment team to handle and need help with finding the right people quickly or when your hiring managers own the hiring process and just want to see pre-qualified candidates. The Sourcer will conduct intakes with the hiring managers and then support the internal recruiter or HR partner to find the right candidates.
Once candidates are presented, the internal partner then takes over the process and completes the hire directly with the hiring manager. This is a way to maintain a positive in-house relationship with the hiring managers and often improves the Candidate experience. The Sourcer can also help the internal HR team with proper intake templates, preparation of the candidates and screening questions for future hires. In larger companies these roles are typically long term to ensure that there is a person with laser focus on keeping a pipeline of candidates in play for roles that are always being filled. This role is also paid by the hour and is paid through an incorporation or sole proprietorship.
RPO is a form of business process outsourcing where a business transfers all or part of the recruitment process to The Recruiter Shop. We become the recruitment partner as part of the HR team and run the company’s staffing, recruitment methodologies, process, and reporting. This is usually a choice for rapid company growth, start-up companies or when positions are not being filled in a timely manner with qualified candidates. This is paid as per the negotiated service level agreement.
Our team is in a great position to see both the Employer and Candidate perspectives in the recruitment process. The Candidate experience reflects on the Employer and their brand. Establishing and maintaining an effective recruitment process can ensure that you are hiring the right candidates quickly, improving your cost per hire. We can audit your current process to streamline it or establish a process from scratch if one is not already in place. We also offer training for your Recruitment and HR team to ensure they understand the process to set them up for success with the right tools including reporting.
